The exhibition ‘ULTIMUM ASTRUM’* (Latin – the farthest star) coincides with the 60th anniversary of the first human space flight.

This exhibition consists of photographs, assemblages and video installations and highlights the work of Russian artist Dmitry Sirotkin. The art space is organized as a total installation – the spectator is surrounded by artworks from each side. Art hall is located in a spacious facility of the old industrial building, which intensifies the effect of totality and immersion.

The exhibition focuses on the theme of space. Sirotkin’s work explores human genesis, juvenile protest, searches of true self, aspiration of the human being and mankind towards new, distant, and unexplored – towards stars.

The exhibition has been made possible thanks to the support of the Evdokimov Gallery.
